Around the Pisa there are many other beautiful sights such as the cathedral that rises up next to it, the baptistry, and the Caposanto Monumental cemetery.

Already tilting when it was completed in 1372. It is 56m up and is also the bell tower of the Romanesque. Afternoon- Pisa cathedral- 2 hours The Pisa Cathedral is a medieval Roman Catholic church dedicated to the assumption of the Virgin Mary. **Light Lunch** Evening- Campo Santo (Camposanto Monumentale or "Old cemetery"). The Campo Santo is also known as the “holy field”, on account of it's historical legend of having been built upon the soil brought from Golgotha (Cavalry). The Golgotha was a site believed to be located right outside the walls of Jerusalem, where the Christ was crucified. 30 minute drive back- $15 |
